Biography

David Sakurai was born to a Japanese father and Danish mother in Copenhagen, Denmark.  He was from an early age involved in various theater productions and films.  In his early teens he moved to Tokyo, Japan where he stayed for 8 years.  During his time in Japan he often travelled to the U.S. and continued his studies in acting.  Martial arts always had a big influence on David.  He has trained in various forms of martial arts since the age of 6 years old.  Styles include: Wing Tsun, Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu and Escrima.  In recent years he has been incorporating his martial arts skills in various film projects and is to this day one of the few "action actors" out of Scandinavia.
