Biography

Laurent was born on January 22nd, 1970 in Rouen (western France).  He studied classical guitar in Paris at the ECOLE NORMALE DE MUSIQUE.  Laurent was also awarded both, first prize as well as a prizewinner in guitar at the international UFAM competition (Paris).  He studied guitar with famous personalities such as ALBERTO PONCE, LEO BROUWER, and ROLAND DYENS.  He specialized in both flamenco and Brazilian music.  He also managed the musical part in various events such as year 2000 EUROPEAN SOCCER CUP in the FRENCH STADIUM (VALENCE MADRID final match).  He is also played in reputed places such as the well known, MAMUNIA PALACE in MARRAKECH (MORROCO).  After numerous recitals in France he got married with a Japanese pianist and decided to move to Japan on February 2005.  He is currently performing in
concerts and also composing advertisement music for Japanese TV.
