Biography

Tsuyoshi was born in Nagoya in 1971.  After graduating from Mie University majoring in American history, he transferred to the drama department at the University of Iowa.  Then moved to New York in 1995 to study acting at Neighborhood Playhouse.  Since 1997, he has acted in many plays in New York.  While pursuing his career as an actor, he also worked as a translator.  He has worked as part-time for Ohashi High Technology since 2001.  He also has translated Japanese plays into English.  In 2007, Tsuyoshi moved to Tokyo to pursue acting.  He is now a member of Seinendan, a theater company led by Oriza Hirata.  He also teaches Acting at High School.
